The Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD)
The National Association for Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD) has been dedicated to the prevention and alleviation of eating disorders since 1976. We are proud to have been the first national sorority to pledge our loyalty to ANAD. Their pledge to “accept yourself, accept others” matches perfectly with our motto “to be rather than to seem to be.”
To learn more about ANAD, visit their website: http://www.anad.org.
Through out the year, the Beta Psi chapter educate and holds events in support of ANAD and the work they do. Below we have pictured our ANAD week where sisters table to raise awareness of ANAD and encourage students of Brandeis to "trash their insecurities". If you have any questions about the work we do with ANAD, feel free to contact our Vice President of Programming, Sara Getzoff (sgetzoff99@gmail.com)
