The Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation, founded in 1966, works to ensure that women have access to exceptional opportunities to learn and contribute to their communities. Their mission is “to encourage the personal and professional advancement of women by supporting educational and philanthropic programs that are responsive to the needs of our communities.” One of the Educational Foundation’s initiatives is offering educational scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate students. In DPhiE, education always comes first! Every year, the foundation awards approximately 30 scholarships ranging from $500 to $3,000.
Undergraduate and graduate students who are initiated members of Delta Phi Epsilon in good standing, who are enrolled as full-time students in the academic year, are eligible to apply for scholarships this fiscal year. Applications open on January 1st, and have a deadline of March 17th.
The Beta Psi chapter of DPhiE participates in Dimes for DPhiE (D4D). This month long program was created in 2012 to commemorate our founders, the “DIMES,” Dorothy Cohen Schwartzman, Ida Bienstock Landau, Minna Goldsmith Mahler, Eva Effron Robin, and Sylvia Stierman Cohen.
